Rolls-Royce Ghost Family

When it comes to tradition and knowing what works, this is something that Rolls-Royce excels at. However, they are also not above thinking outside the box. Looking for new ideas. Creating new designs that people will fall in love with. The Ghost family is a perfect example of such thinking.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Concept

The Ghost concept came together long before anyone ever saw the first car come out of the Rolls-Royce warehouse. The goal was to create a lithe and modern Rolls-Royce that had a dynamic design and drive to it. It would be smaller than the Phantom, but still maintain that Rolls-Royce touch.

The first official sketches weren’t released until 2008, although talk circulated before they came to light. People wanted to know – what was Rolls-Royce up to? What would their new car look like? People were excited to see the possibilities, but this was just the beginning.

The Ghost Revealed

In March of 2009, Rolls-Royce released the first inkling of what would eventually become the Ghost. It was dubbed the 200EX and shown at the Geneva Motor Show. It was a hit, and six months later the true Ghost came to light. Simple yet powerful, the Ghost was celebrated the world over. This gave Rolls-Royce more than enough confidence to move on to their next plan, and release the Ghost Extended Wheelbase in 2011.

While the Ghost is still relatively new to the entire Rolls-Royce family, it is more than welcome and has already cemented itself as a wonderful edition to luxury cars. Braman Rolls-Royce is ready to show you the delights that are associated with the Ghost, whether you opt for the original design or feel like savoring the Extended Wheelbase model. Either way, you won’t be disappointed with what you find, and like everyone else, will wonder just what Rolls-Royce might be up to next.
