Rolls-Royce Sales Are Higher Than Ever

With such a long history of success in the ultra-luxury automobile industry, Rolls-Royce is no stranger to breaking its own records. This past year, it did it again. Rolls-Royce has notoriously never been a mass-producer of cars, instead marginally increasing its output year over year to match demand. However, in 2022, Rolls-Royce set a sales record of 6,021 vehicles sold, making it the company’s most successful year to date. While Rolls-Royce sets sales record after sales record, it maintains its position as a rare quantity. Rolls-Royce established a new milestone in 2022. In the last year, Rolls-Royce cars and SUVs were sold in over 50 countries worldwide. It is a record for the company, celebrating 118 years of distinction in the automotive industry. In addition, the number of exclusive features designed especially for some unique prospective customers has risen substantially, with more custom orders secured through 2023.

As a result, Rolls-Royce as an employer has become a notable success in the United Kingdom, not only offering more than 150 new job possibilities at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood but also employing over 2,500 people of more than 50 nationals and up to 100 apprentices and graduates trainees. As they celebrate the 20th anniversary of their House in 2023, they will continue to be the only worldwide location where each Rolls-Royce motorcar is constructed to order and with distinctive, customized characteristics. To fulfill the rising demand for custom designs, the company is investing in land adjacent to its current location to expand its operations.

The pre-order bank for the Rolls-Royce Spectre, the world’s first ultra-luxury electric super coupe, has exceeded the company’s highest hopes since its October premiere. Initial deliveries to customers will occur in the fourth quarter of 2023, marking the brand’s first step toward producing entirely fully-electric vehicles by the end of 2030. All current Rolls-Royce models have extraordinarily high demand, with orders secured well beyond 2023.

The Cullinan maintained its status as Rolls-most Royce’s popular vehicle in 2022, while Ghost was the marque’s best-selling model in Asia-Pacific. Black Badge, Rolls-rebellious Royce’s alter ego, has experienced phenomenal expansion. The focus is now on the new Rolls-Royce Spectre, the company’s first electric vehicle.
