Watch a Rolls-Royce Give Rally a Shot

There are a lot of things that come to mind when someone mentions a Rolls-Royce. Luxury. Comfort. The best of the best. Glasses of champagne or a relaxing night out with fine dining and perhaps a bit of opera.

Rally racing is not among those images.

Then again, Rolls-Royce isn’t above looking for new ways to have fun. That includes drifting across a carefully manicured lawn and sending grass and dirt flying into the air. While most people would never dream of doing such a thing in their Rolls-Royce, sometimes things need to be switched up a bit. So a Rolls-Royce Wraith gets to go for a severe joyride. After all, with all that power and elegance under the hood, there isn’t anything that says it can’t go speeding around rally-style.

More amusing is the license plate – it reads TAXTHRICH. Oddly ironic considering the driver has taken this Rolls-Royce to a grand estate with plenty of open space in which to, quite literally, tear around. It powerslides and does donuts over the grass, with only a few moments on an actual dirt road before taking off across the lawn again. In an interesting way, it’s a testament to the agility and handling of the Rolls-Royce Wraith. After all, it has to have excellent, pinpoint precision to be driven in such a way, as there are plenty of trees, bushes, and flower gardens for the driver to navigate around, and the grass itself doesn’t exactly provide the best in traction.

You may not ever consider taking a Rolls-Royce across the grass, much less driving it like you stole it, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun with everything that a Rolls-Royce Wraith has to offer.
