There’s just something about movies that allows you to escape from the daily drama and grind that we all experience in the “real world”. Movies give us a chance to experience other worlds, places and adventures that we may never have the ability to enjoy in our everyday life. The feature we can enjoy: the vehicles!

Cars are often the silent stars of movies. They make a statement and give the viewer endless clues and insights into the character. Leading man driving a Porsche? They’re likely stylish, sporty, and powerful. Leading lady driving a Rolls Royce? They’re classy and refined. Rolls Royce cars are a Hollywood favorite and have made appearances in classic movies throughout the years.

For example do you remember the 1984 movie Supergirl? Straight off the wave of success from the original Superman movies, Supergirl followed a cousin of Superman’s and her experiences on Earth. A gorgeous Phantom Open Tourer was the movies second superhero. And no Bond movie would be complete without some gorgeous vehicles, particularly the 1959 Rolls Royce Phantom V Mulliner Park Ward Limousine – a fantastic addition to the Bond franchise in the 1989 License to Kill.

Looking for a newer movie that a Rolls appeared in? How about the 2006 movie Rocky Balboa, which featured a 2004 Rolls Royce Phantom in it. Or the Marvel hit Iron Man, also starring the Phantom. Rolls Royce vehicles have been in movies for dozens of years and likely will continue to be.
