Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II

February 21, 2015

Rolls-Royce knows how to make an entrance. Moreover, they know how to make a car that people will be very interested in no matter what. It’s simply what they do, and they know how to do it well. The Rolls-Royce Ghost has been popular since its first launch in 2010. But Rolls-Royce isn’t about to let things slow down. So now it’s 2015 and it is time for the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II.

Redesigned, given a facelift – however you want to describe it – the Rolls-Royce Ghost II has a lot of elements that work together to show off just how this Ghost is different from its predecessor. For example, the grille is a little more imposing and now has LED-lined headlights. The profile is smoother while still making sure to keep the image so people know just where the namesake comes from.

Inside, you’ll find the iDrive controls are at the center and are simple touch designs so all it takes is the press of a finger to make changes. Infotainment is at the ready, and it is all powered by top-of-the-line tech so you know, as always, that you’re getting the best of the best within this Ghost. It keeps the engine of the first Ghost as well, with a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 engine that produces 563 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. But seeing as it’s a powerful beast that isn’t afraid to jump forward the moment you ask, there’s no big surprise as to why the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II keeps it.

As you ride around, you’ll be amazed at just how quiet the Rolls-Royce Ghost is. Of course, that’s only if you haven’t experienced a Ghost before. There’s a reason to such a name, and you’ll wonder at just how Rolls-Royce manages to get such silence from such a powerful car. You can roll through the city and never once hear anything but what you choose to hear from inside your car.

A beautiful machine, it’s about time you got yourself acquainted with the Ghost II.
