When Rolls-Royce announced it was going to create the Cullinan SUV – the first sports utility vehicle in its history – some expected blowback. How could this icon of opulence make an SUV, a utilitarian model in a lineup of luxury superstars? Well, it turns out this Rolls-Royce truck not only provides more room and rugged handling worthy of snowy mountain passes and muddy backroads, it does so with that characteristic magic carpet ride.

The Cullinan SUV is built on the same aluminum chassis as the Phantom; thanks to 6mm glass windows and foam-filled tires, it is whisper-quiet too. Steering is tight and responsive, making it easy – and a pure joy – to pilot the three ton beast. With a 6.75 liter V12, the Cullinan is capable of churning out 563 horses and 627 lb-ft of torque. Despite its size, it can propel you from zero to 60 in 5 seconds.

You can easily switch to Off-Road mode to raise the suspension and stiffen the shocks; if you want to take the road less traveled (and less maintained!), this gives you the clearance and suspension you need to weather the bumps. It also corners like a dream and offers an agile ride that belies its bulk.

The interior features your choice of a fold-down rear seat, giving you the option to increase your cargo space or a fixed rear seat that includes a center console, reclining seats, and a glass partition to separate the rear from the luggage compartment.

Expect those wonderful Rolls-Royce touches as well: the console, for example, boasts a liquor cabinet with branded whiskey glasses, champagne flute, and refrigerator. Comfort and luxury abound!

The Rolls-Royce truck not only lives up to the brand’s image; it has become one of its most beloved models. Visit Braman Rolls-Royce to learn more.
