Rolls-Royce Cullinan | The World’s Most Expensive SUV | Rolls-Royce West Palm Beach, South Florida

There are a lot of vehicles you can expect to see at the annual Goodwood Speed Festival, but the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is not one of them. Known as the world’s most expensive SUV, the Cullinan is renowned for its comfort, style, and the esteemable, envious title of being a Rolls-Royce. What it’s not known for, however, is speed or power. Visitors to the Goodwood Speed Festival got a pleasant surprise this year when the Cullinan showed up on the track.

Not only is the Rolls-Royce Cullinan the most expensive SUV in the world, it’s also one of the heaviest. Weighing over 6,000 pounds and able to hit a top speed of 155 mph, this Rolls-Royce can hit 60 mph in 5 seconds. It’s also the first Rolls-Royce to have four-wheel steering, which experts are saying is the reason it was able to handle the Goodwood track as beautifully as it did.

Driver Daryl Jones was able to whip the Cullinan around all of the very sharp, winding turns that the Goodwood track is known for. Jones took the track so hard that one wheel was actually up in the air for a short time during the drive!

With a price tag of $325,000, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is currently the world’s most expensive SUV; it’s $125,000+ pricier than other high end, luxury SUVs including the Bentley Bentayga, a direct competitor to the Cullinan. What did the Cullinan show us at Goodwood? It shows that we should never take Rolls-Royce out of the game when it comes to any type of vehicle because even though they’re known for high class and luxury, their vehicles can still go toe-to-toe with any other in the world in terms of speed, power, and handling.
