A Cullinan 6×6?

Few brands define luxury quite like Rolls-Royce, and the Cullinan is just another example of that. A recent rendering of the Cullinan with six wheels, though, has many wondering what if this luxury brand decided to create something that looked a bit more like the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6X6? Could it really happen?

A Rolls-Royce 6×6: The Dream

The rendering that got so many imaginations going has certainly made its way across the internet as people continually fall in love with this fully off-road capable vehicle. The rendering was created by Indian designer Vivek, and the idea was initially inspired by the Ghost. It looks something like an off-roading powerhouse with three axles, six wheel drive, and tires that scream for a serious competition. Add a 6.75 liter V12 twin-turbo to the mix, and it would certainly rival anything else available today.

The Reality of a 6×6

The truth is that a Cullinan 6×6 is not in the plans for this brand. Moreover, the Cullinan 6×6 is never going to be in the plans for this brand. It may very well end up the custom of the century, though, if any brand aficionados have anything to day about it. That may actually come about if a customer with very deep pockets approaches this brand that seems willing to come up with bespoke creations to meet the needs of some of its best paying customers. If that’s the case, maybe a 6×6 isn’t so far into the future. After all, this is the brand that created the Sweptail.
