Rolls Royce Boat Tail

While Rolls-Royce does not state the price of its new Boat Tail, you can rest assured that the majority of people on this planet will only get to see it on the internet. The Rolls-Royce Boat Tail evolved from the 2017 Rolls-Royce Sweptail, which cost $13 million. And this custom Rolls-Royce is believed to be many times more expensive. The actual price will only be known to the individual(s) buying this luxury car.

At the moment, only one Rolls-Royce Boat Tail has been manufactured and everything we know has been obtained from hearsay and a few images released by the buyer. Only three custom Rolls-Royce vehicles of this nature will be built as there are not many people on planet earth that can afford a car that costs more than a commercial aircraft.

What is the Real Deal with the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail?

The Boat Tail is essentially a luxury convertible that comes with a detachable carbon-fiber roof that can instantly convert the car into an elegant coupe.

The basic premise of this luxurious vehicle is based on a nautical theme. The car has been made so that one will get a feeling of hovering silently over water. To begin with, the custom Rolls-Royce measures 19 feet in length, with an aluminum space frame platform and 6.75-liter V-12 engine, which are also shared by its predecessors: the Cullinan, Phantom, and the new Ghost models. But, aside from these similarities, the Boat Tail is in a class of its own.

Some of the awesome features of the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail include the Pantheon grille, the huge hand-painted azure blue bonnet and, at the rear, the two side-opening compartments hinged in the center, giving an appearance of a butterfly opening its wings. One of the compartments is refrigerated and has been designed to carry champagne bottles and the other compartment allows for a set of exclusive crockery, all engraved. Since this is a personalized luxury car, if anything breaks or gets damaged, there are no readily available replacement parts; hence, everything has to be made from scratch, including the crockery.

The ultimate luxury, however, is a parasol made of stainless and aluminum coupling that fits into the back provide shade, in case you decide to have an impromptu picnic and enjoy the champagne.

The entire convertible has been hand-built and attention has been paid to every inch of the car. The exterior surface of the body has been minimized with only two exterior creases, creating an image of a luxury car that never ages.

Inside, the custom Rolls-Royce has regular retractable side windows as well as a set of smaller quarter windows. Even the 21-inch wheels have been designed to match the overall aesthetics of the car.

The most expensive Rolls was the Sweptail that cost $13 million, but it is believed that the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail will probably cost somewhere around $20 million, not a big deal for people who are billionaires.
