Ghost Black Badge Commemorates Transition

Ghost Black Badge

This is one ghost that will not fade away silently into the ether… the Ghost Black Badge commemorates the end of this model family’s phenomenal 10 year run, during which it was the most popular Bentley motorcar of the Goodwood era. The Ghost Black Badge is a dramatic homage to this living legend.

Ever since the Ghost made its first appearance at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, it has appealed to younger audiences who are, quite often, self-made. It spoke to a new generation and introduced them to unparalleled performance and luxury. In the decade since, it has not failed in captivating and winning over both critics and owners.

The Black Badge Ghost made its debut at the 2019 NEC Classic Motor Show and wowed attendees with its edgy appearance and powerful presence. It, like its drivers, is bold and confident. The Ghost on display at the NEC featured a Dark Emerald and Black Diamond finish with a Seashell and Black interior, complemented by a Technical Fibre veneer and Deep Chrome details. Our iconic lady, the Spirit of Ecstasy, is fearless in Dark Chrome.

Like all members of the exclusive Black Badge family, the Ghost Black Badge offers enhanced power, speed, and torque than the standard model (improving upon perfection), as well as a specially tuned chassis for ultra-responsive handling. It boasts a massive 6.6 liter twin turbo V12 with 603 horses and 840Nm of torque; this, ladies and gentlemen, is the fastest Ghost ever.

Rolls-Royce will now transition to the second generation of its iconic Ghost. Gen II certainly has big shoes (or tires) to fill – but it’s Rolls-Royce… we’re confident that it will honor its predecessor while carving its own place as a future legend.
