Rolls-Royce Ghost Mysore Collection

Rolls-Royce certainly knows how to make their vehicles more interesting. With every step, they add in colors, designs, and concepts to take an already gorgeous model and transform it into something even more eye-catching and surprising than before. In this case, the Rolls-Royce Ghost has been given a bit of a facelift and, with the help of the Rolls-Royce Bespoke program, transformed into the Rolls-Royce Ghost Mysore.

Rolls-Royce is no stranger to making unique designs for unexpected reasons. In this case, the Rolls-Royce Ghost Mysore Collection is a limited-edition Ghost that features a wide array of features, as well as a completely different exterior coloring. In this case, it features metallic blue along the sides and a nearly-white silver on the hood and straight over the top. The coachline is orange and features a stylized green and white peacock.

So why all this fuss and why these particular details? The Rolls-Royce Ghost Mysore Collection is actually a bit of a homage to the rule of 18th century Mysore, Tipu Sultan. Mysore was a kingdom in Southern India that was founded in 1339 and lasted until 1950 when it was disestablished. It only makes sense for such a luxury car company to tip their hat to one of the greatest kingdoms of the Asian area. The peacock is the national bird of India, hence the bird’s appearance on the car itself. And, of course, don’t forget the tiger emblem on both the headrest and the side view mirrors.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Mysore is only available in Abu Dhabi, so if you were hoping for one it’s going to be a bit of a chore to obtain it. Then again, there’s always the Rolls-Royce Bespoke program in which you can make your very own personalized Rolls-Royce Ghost – and given that you can customize it any way you like, that might be a better option.
